Restart your windows without restarting ur system

You can restart your windows operating system without restarting your system by pressing shift + shutdown this is applicable in XP only.

First you should go
start > run >eventvwr.msc

Events are stored in three log files: Application, Security, and System. These logs can be reviewed and archived.
For our purposes we want the System log. Click on "System" in the left-hand column for a list of events. Look for a date and time when you weren't home and your computer should have been off.

Double click on the eg: info and it will show you the detail.

You can also use this log to see how long someone was on the computer. Just look at the time the computer was turned on and off for that day.

Disable The Send Error Report to Microsoft

Open Control Panel

Click on System.

Then click on the Advanced tab

Click on the error reporting button on the bottom of the windows.

Select Disable error reporting.

Click OK

..5..if it doesnot load....you can be sure that he or she is really offline  2/7/07 DEAD

How To Make A Shutdown Timer!

Here is another trick to shutdown at a specific time, for example you wish to shutdown at 11:35am. Type this in

start=>Run

Type Code: at 11:35 shutdown -s

TO ABORT:
Code:shutdown -a
